HOW TO SUPPORT HOTE, INC​
Heart of the Earth is a non-profit organization in West Springfield, Massachusetts. The organization was co-founded in 2016 by Michelle Brooks-Thompson and David Thompson. The organization continually seeks financial support through grants and private donations. Every amount of support received is directly invested into the organization and the youth participants who are reaping the benefits of internal programs. YOUTH PARTICIPANTS
Heart of the Earth is an organization with a mission to help youth & young adults between the ages of 13-20, simply excel in life through their individual musical and athletics talents. Youth who participate in HOTE programs are identified as those who are faced with socio-economic deprivations and or have been effected by traumatic life experiences. Our goal is to provide effected youth with a second chance at life uniquely driven by their extraordinary individual talents. HOTE offers strength and methods to develop empowerment & resilience within youth participants, through internal programs of mentorship, self-esteem improvement, group counseling, and music and athletic talent development. HOTE seeks to impact the lives of youth primarily in the Western Massachusetts area. Youth are recommended to HOTE and are accepted based on various criteria. LATEST PROJECT

We are on the search to award TWO high school graduating seniors with new laptops and customized college care packages!
Ideally the program is seeking to select two seniors who present a strong financial need or burden, when it comes to preparing to attend college in the Fall of 2017.
We understand how essential these items are to any new college student and we would like to help lighten the financial burden!
Furthermore, we are excited as an organization to assist youth who are focused on furthering their education in the musical arts or athletics.
